- Description
- Red and white plastic flashlight with a ribbed texture and white printed text: "W.T.C Fire Safety." Handwritten in black marker on the side of the on/off switch is "DKB | G. Mironis."
- Historical Notes
- The Port Authority instituted a fire warden program after the 1993 bombing and provided fire safety training for World Trade Center tenants. Fire wardens were responsible for checking their floors, managing drills, and communicating with authorities in an emergency. This training saved many lives on 9/11. This flashlight belonged to 9/11 survivor George Mironis.
