- Pair of suede and faux leather women's black high heels. The shoes are in good condition, showing no signs of dust but worn down in the interior.
- Historical Notes
- After evacuating from her office on the 47th floor of the North Tower, Wachovia employee Semi Selita had just reached the street when the South Tower began to collapse. She and a friend ran from the approaching dust cloud and took refuge in a nearby store as the dust cloud passed. They eventually continued their evacuation farther uptown and made their way to Staten Island that night after renting a car in Brooklyn. She saved her shoes as a reminder of her experience.
