- Historical Notes
- An emigrant from Ukraine to the United States in 1994, Inna Basina lived in Brooklyn with her husband, Vladimir, and their son. She worked nights as a translator while earning her master’s degree in accounting, and in 1999 joined Cantor Fitzgerald as an accountant. On September 11, three days before her son’s 12th birthday, Inna was at work on the 101st floor of the North Tower. She was 43 years old.
