Curator's Comment
Sneha Philip met her husband, Ron, at Chicago Medical School. After graduation, the couple moved to New York City, marrying in 2000 and settling in an apartment in Battery Park City near the World Trade Center. An internal medicine resident at St. Vincent’s Hospital on Staten Island, Sneha was not scheduled to work on September 11. Her family believes she was close to the World Trade Center during the attacks and responded to help the injured.
