Door, Recovered

Description: Recovered truck door from a damaged NYPD Emergency Service Unit truck. The door is dented and scratched, with "284" spray-painted on the front.
Historical Notes: Sixty-one damaged police vehicles were among the nearly 1,400 vehicles transported to Fresh Kills Landfill for search and disposal. This door was recovered and saved.
