- Born in Peabody, Massachusetts, Christine Barbuto lived in Brookline. From childhood, she was known for her sense of humor and practical jokes. With the merchandising degree she earned in college, Christine became a buyer for TJX Companies in Framingham, Massachusetts. On September 11, she boarded Flight 11 with six coworkers, en route to Los Angeles for a buying trip. Christine was 32 years old.
