Handwritten note on a foam craft heart, with red, white, and blue stars and stripes on the front. The tribute was left at the 9/11 Memorial in memory of Kenneth P. Lira Arévalo. The note written on the back of the heart reads: "9-11-01 9-11-16 | Kenny, my lovely & dearest son, you will be always in my heart. I won't ever forget you and remember my love is tallest & stronger than the Towers. Mom."
Red and blue ribbons are tied to the plastic stick attached to the foam heart. A white looped ribbon is pinned to the front of the heart. "Kenneth Lira Arevalo | 15th Anniversary 9 11 01" is printed on the ribbon in silver. - Historical Notes
- Kenneth Lira Arévalo was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, and continued to live there as an adult. In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed snowboarding, pursuing the sport near his home and on vacations in Utah and Vermont. On September 11, Kenneth, a technical computer networking engineer for Genuity Solutions, was working on the 110th floor of the South Tower. He was 28 years old.

This tribute was left on the S-45 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Kenneth P. Lira Arévalo on September 11, 2016.
