T-Shirt

- Blue T-shirt created for a memorial event held in memory of Denis P. Germain. On the left breast of the shirt is a Maltese cross with text in the center: "L-2" and "FDNY" in the top crossbar, and "343 | 9-11-01" in the bottom crossbar. "In Loving Memory of | FF. Denis P. Germain is printed above and below the cross. The back of the shirt includes an image of a cartoon firefighter on skis and printed text: "7th Annual | FF. Denis P. Germain | Memorial Race | Hosted by: | Belleagre Mountain | February 23, 2008."
- Historical Notes
- Denis Germain was born in New York City and grew up in Sloatsburg, New York. He lived in nearby Tuxedo and worked part time in the area as a ski instructor coaching high school racing teams. Denis was with the FDNY for seven years and served at Ladder Company 2. On September 11, Firefighter Germain responded to the towers with his unit. He was 33 years old.
