- Recovered Port Authority of New York & New Jersey business card of William Macko. The business card identifies William J. Macko as the General Maintenance Supervisor Plant & Structures Division at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey at One World Trade Center. The card includes an image of the Twin Towers.
- Historical Notes
- William Macko lived in Bayonne, New Jersey. He and his wife, Carol, had four children. William was a former U.S. Marine and enjoyed fishing and cooking. He worked for the Port Authority as an assistant chief mechanical supervisor for the World Trade Center. On February 26, 1993, William was on his lunch break in the complex’s basement when a bomb exploded in the nearby parking garage. He was 57 years old.

This card was recovered from Macko's wallet following his death during the February 26, 1993, terrorist attack at the World Trade Center.
