Glass Fragment

- Small fragment of green-tinted window glass. The glass is scratched and dirty and has text etched into its surface: "A remnant of | #1 World Trade Center | Feb. 26, 1993 | Was a piece of exterior window."
- Historical Notes
- This piece of window glass was purchased by the donor from an estate sale in southern New Jersey. It belonged to Harold Edward Spedding (d. 2016), a member of FEMA who responded to the World Trade Center shortly after the February 26, 1993, bombing occurred. Spedding likely acquired the glass while participating in recovery efforts at the site.
