- Luggage tag created in memory of Carlos R. Lillo for the Fifth Annual Carlos R. Lillo Memorial Foundation Golf Outing. The tag is in the shape of a golf bag and clubs and with printed text on the front: "Thank You 2006." On the back is printed: "5th Annual | Carlos Lillo | Memorial Foundation | Golf Outing." The tag has a leather buckle for its strap.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Carlos Lillo moved to New York City with his family at age 14. He lived in North Babylon, Long Island, with his wife, Haydee Cecilia. In his 16-year career in emergency medical services, Carlos helped deliver 36 babies—one mother chose to name her son after him. On September 11, Paramedic Lillo responded to the South Tower with the FDNY’s EMS Battalion 49. He was 37 years old.

The Annual Carlos Lillo Memorial Golf Outing is held at Pelham Bay Golf Course in the Bronx, New York, and raises money for the Carlos Lillo Memorial Scholarship Fund.
