Vest
- Description
- Fishing vest belonging to Martin Michael Boryczewski. The vest is beige with several flap and zipper pockets on the front. Two of the pockets have large fly-fishing flies attached, and the top right pocket has a small patch for "Woods Goods Saftbak" attached. The middle pocket on the right side has Boryczewski's 2001 nonresident Pennsylvania fishing license enclosed in a plastic sleeve attached to the pocket.
- Historical Notes
- New Jersey native Martin Boryczewski grew up in Parsippany and lived in Hoboken. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and dreamed of becoming a fly-fishing guide in Montana. After playing minor league baseball for four years, Martin switched careers, becoming a financial trader. On September 11, he was at work at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of the North Tower. He was 29 years old.
