- Small three-pronged silver fork belonging to Charles Alan Zion. The fork is tarnished.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Rochester, New York, Charles Zion lived in Greenwich, Connecticut, with his wife, Carole, and their teenage son, Zachary. When Charles took up golf, Carole and Zachary did too, so they could play together. After work as a senior vice president at Cantor Fitzgerald, Charles relaxed with another hobby: knitting. On September 11, he was at work on the North Tower’s 103rd floor. He was 54 years old.
Curator's Comment
Accompanying this fork was a note from the donor with the following text: "Chuck's favorite 'fork.' Although Chuck was big, he loved eating with his little silver fork."
