- Historical Notes
- Uniondale, Long Island, native Timothy Byrne lived in New York City. In college when his father died, Timothy took a lead role in his family. His nine siblings counted on him to show at gatherings and spend time with each of them around his busy work schedule. On September 11, Timothy was on the 104th floor of the South Tower at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, where he was a vice president. He was 36 years old.
