- Born in Bangladesh, Abul Chowdhury moved to the United States as a young adult. He lived in New York City and was engaged to his girlfriend. Abul worked as a senior systems analyst at the eSpeed division of Cantor Fitzgerald and was also taking graduate computer science classes at New York University. On September 11, Abul was at work on the 103rd floor of the North Tower. He was 30 years old.
