Identification Card
- Description
- World Trade Center identification card issued to Jason Michael Cefalu at Cantor Fitzgerald. The card includes a color photograph of Cefalu on the right side and his name printed as "Cefalu | Jason M." on the left. The card has a green background with "World Trade Center" printed at the bottom and with the logo of the towers on the left. The card is attached to a ball-chain lanyard.
- Historical Notes
- Jason Cefalu was born in Franklin Square, Long Island, and lived in Manhattan. He enjoyed fishing and took fishing trips to Long Beach and Key West, Florida. While attending Hofstra University, he had been a member of its Young Republicans group and worked on political campaigns. On September 11, Jason, a bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald, was at work on the North Tower’s 105th floor. He was 30 years old.
