- United States Air Force embroidered uniform patch in blue and white left at the 9/11 Memorial in memory of Jerome Mark Patrick Dominguez. The patch has five white chevrons, which denotes the rank of Technical Sergeant.
- Historical Notes
- Jerome Dominguez grew up in the Bronx and lived in Holtsville, Long Island. He was engaged to marry his girlfriend, Jessica. Jerome’s hobbies included riding motorcycles and scuba diving. An NYPD officer since 1985, Jerome served with Emergency Service Squad 3. He was also a U.S. Air Force Reserve member. On September 11, Officer Dominguez was seen climbing a North Tower stairwell. He was 37 years old.
Curator's Comment
The patch was accompanied by a prayer card, and both were left on the S-25 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Jerome Mark Patrick Dominguez on September 11, 2015.
