- Description
- Recovered World Trade Center identification card issued to Dianne Gladstone at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. The damaged card has deep scratches and puncture marks, and its left side is bent and partially missing.
- Historical Notes
- Queens, New York, native Dianne Gladstone lived in Forest Hills with her husband, Herbert. The two met on a blind date and were married for 30 years. They had bought a home on Long Island in preparation for Dianne’s retirement, planned for April 2002. Dianne worked as a section head at the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. On September 11, she was on the South Tower’s 86th floor. Dianne was 55 years old.
