- Recovered World Trade Center identification card issued to Ronald G. Hoerner at World Trade Department | Summit Security. The card is scratched and coated in dust and dirt. The card has a yellow background.
- Historical Notes
- Queens native Ronald Hoerner lived in Massapequa, Long Island, with his wife, Barbara. He had three stepdaughters and six grandchildren. Ronald had served as a state trooper before joining Summit Security Services. He worked as a resident security manager at the World Trade Center. On September 11, Ronald was seen helping a woman evacuate from the South Tower. He was 58 years old.
