Golf Set

Description
Original Slazenger Ryder Cup limited edition golf set intended for the 2001 event. The souvenir set includes two Slazenger golf ball sleeves containing three balls each and one navy blue baseball cap with the Ryder Cup and Belfry logo embroidered on the front.
Historical Notes
The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, England, hosts the biennial Ryder Cup tournament, which was scheduled for late September 2001. The competition between European and U.S. golfers was postponed for a year in response to the 9/11 attacks. This souvenir set was sent to tickets holders after the postponement.
