- Blackhawk brand pair of men's black leather boots. The boots are encrusted with dried mud and dust.
- Historical Notes
- Steve Saymon, Captain of the Brooklawn, New Jersey, Police Department, reported to Ground Zero on the afternoon of 9/11, remaining onsite through 9/14. Saymon wore these boots while working at Ground Zero and preserved them in a glass shadowbox until donating them to the Museum in 2012.
