- Description
- Decorative sign created in memory of Jennifer Louise Fialko. The sign is wooden with "LOVE LIVES HERE" written on the front with small hearts separating the words. A strip of patterned fabric at the top is used to hang the sign. A key chain with the AON logo is attached to the fabric. On the back of the sign are handwritten tribute messages: "In Loving Memory | Jennifer Fialko | 9-11-01 | WTC II." In the center is written: "I [heart] U" with "Jen" written in the heart. On the right side is written: "To honor Jennifer, her family | & everyone who loves her." And a quote, "'You are worthy | without any proof.' | Dave Bihl | 12-4-01."
- Historical Notes
- Born in Englewood, New Jersey, Jennifer Fialko lived in Teaneck. She had studied in Spain and was fluent in Spanish. Jennifer enjoyed playing softball and water-skiing. She had survived Hodgkin’s disease and was interested in nutrition and alternative medicine. Jennifer worked in client services at Aon Corporation. On September 11, she was at her office on the South Tower’s 92nd floor. She was 29 years old.
