- Hartford, Connecticut, native Daniel Nolan lived in Hopatcong, New Jersey, with his wife, Renee, and two children. He favored adventurous sports—off-trail skiing, deep-sea diving, and speeding his boat around Lake Hopatcong. On September 11, Daniel was at work on the North Tower’s 97th floor at Marsh & McLennan, where he was assistant vice president for computer technology services. He was 44 years old.
