- Historical Notes
- Brooklyn native Barbara Walsh lived on Staten Island with her husband, James. They had four children. A cook known for her pasta sauces and Polish cookies, Barbara gathered her relatives for Sunday dinners and for winter and summer vacations. On September 11, she was on the North Tower’s 96th floor at Marsh & McLennan, where she had been an administrative assistant for a decade. She was 59 years old.
