- Golf ball created in memory of Thomas Patrick DeAngelis. Printed on the ball is a graphic titled “Tommy's Angel” depicting angel wings, a fire helmet, and a fire truck.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Valley Stream, Long Island, Thomas DeAngelis lived in Westbury with his wife, Pat, and their teenage daughter. Thomas also had two grown children. Through 27 years with the FDNY, he rose to the rank of battalion chief and earned the nickname Chuckles for his good humor. On September 11, Chief DeAngelis responded to the World Trade Center. He was 51 years old.
