- Lapel pin given to the family of Karen Elizabeth Hagerty. The pin is circular with an image of an eagle in-flight and gold-colored enamel text: "FBI | BOMB TECHNICIAN."
- Historical Notes
- Huntington, Long Island, native Karen Hagerty lived in New York City. She rode horses competitively and socialized with other equestrians, once hosting 40 people at a birthday party for her horse, Ricardo. Karen worked as a senior vice president at Aon Corporation on the 105th floor of the South Tower. On September 11, she was seen giving up her place in an elevator to a colleague. Karen was 34 years old.

The FBI agent who recovered items belonging to Karen Elizabeth Hagerty gave this pin to her family.
