- Boeing Presidential Honors award for Strategic and Business Excellence (2001) awarded posthumously to Chandler Raymond Keller. The award is glass with etched text: "President's | Honors Award | Chad Keller | For | Strategy & Business | Excellence | 2001." The Boeing logo is at the bottom. A piece of twisted decorative metal wraps around the glass award and attaches to the base.
- Historical Notes
- Redondo Beach, California, native Chandler Keller lived in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Lisa. As a boy, Chandler liked science and built and set off rockets in the backyard. As an adult, he worked for Boeing Satellite Systems as a lead propulsion engineer in its satellite launch program. On September 11, Chandler boarded Flight 77 to head home after a business trip to Washington, D.C. He was 29 years old.
