Pen
- Description
- The Port of New York and New Jersey special edition floaty pen. The floating feature of the pen depicts the city skyline with the Twin Towers and the Statue of Liberty. When the pen is tipped, a ship moves back and forth along the water.
- Historical Notes
- From 1971 until 1983 William Maron ran a small shipping company called the Maron Shipping Agency Inc. (now defunct) located on the 27th floor, Suite 2767, of the North Tower. Its core business was international freight forwarding. Maron was among the first 20 or so tenants to move into the newly completed World Trade Center in the early 1970s.
