- Cast ceramic paw print with "Tsunami | 9-11 K9" etched into the clay below the print. There appears to be some dog hair stuck in the paw print.
- Historical Notes
- Tsunami, a black German shepherd trained in rescue work, served at Ground Zero with her handler Hal Wilson. On September 12, 2001, Wilson and Tsunami self-dispatched with another handler and dog from Long Island. Both dogs worked at Ground Zero and successfully alerted humans to the presence of victims whose bodies were recovered.
