- Description
- Backpack from the Risk Waters Conference belonging to Karlie Rogers. The backpack is black with red embroidered text: "waters 2001 | financial technology | congress." The company logos for the gold sponsors Accenture, Compaq, and Slam Dunk Networks are also embroidered on the front. Toward the bottom of the backpack "risk waters group" is embroidered in white.
- Historical Notes
- Karlie Rogers was born in Somerset, England, and lived in London. Friends and coworkers enjoyed her ability to make them laugh with sharp one-liners. At Risk Waters, Karlie had risen from a telemarketing position to become global head of sponsorship sales. On September 11, she was working at a technology conference sponsored by her company, on the North Tower’s 106th floor. Karlie was 26 years old.
