Curator's Comment
Lisa Ehrlich’s son Myles recalled that his mother wore this necklace with her name on it almost every day. He wrote that she was “my best friend in the world.” The other necklace holds a picture of Lisa with sons Myles and Ryan. Coworkers remembered how often she talked about them, sharing photos, anecdotes, and how much she loved her boys. In the months before 9/11, she was helping Myles prepare for his bar mitzvah and told a colleague she was trying to teach both children to be more independent.
