- Recovered Turkish Airlines Miles & Miles membership card issued to Waleed Joseph Iskandar. The card is discolored and the plastic is peeling.

- Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Waleed Iskandar came to the United States in 1984 to attend college. He enjoyed cycling, water-skiing, and practicing yoga. Waleed lived in London, where he met his fiancée, Nicolette. He was a consultant with Monitor, a management consulting firm. On September 11, after visiting his brother in Boston, Waleed boarded Flight 11 to see his parents in Los Angeles. He was 34 years old.
Curator's Comment
As a global frequent flyer, Waleed Joseph Iskandar belonged to various airline rewards programs. In September 2001, the Lebanon-born and London-based management consultant visited his brother, who lived near Boston. On September 11, Iskandar boarded Flight 11 at Boston Logan International Airport en route to the West Coast to see more family.
