Memorial Card
- Description
- Memorial card created in memory of Jeffrey W. Coombs. The front of the card features a photograph of Coombs inset within an image of a forest. A printed poem appears Coombs's photograph. The back of the card includes printed text: "In Loving Memory of | JEFFREY W. COOMBS | September 18, 1958 | September 11, 2001," followed by a list of "Jeff's Rule of Life."
- Historical Notes
- Jeffrey Coombs grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts, and lived in Abington with his wife, Christie, and their three school-age children. Jeffrey was a nature lover who planned activities outdoors with his family and was set to hike the Grand Canyon for 10 days in late September. On September 11, Jeffrey, a security analyst at Compaq, boarded Flight 11 heading to California on business. He was 42 years old.
