Memorial poster created in memory of Evelyn C. McKinnedy. The poster is on yellow paper and features a drawing of McKinnedy with handwritten text below it: "EVELYN C. MCKINNEDY | TO MY COUSIN - | YOU ARE IN OUR | PRAYS [sic]. FROM NEW YORK - | TO SOUTH CAROLINA - 'YOUR' | SOUL IS NOW RESTED. | THE UNIVERSE OBSORBS [sic] | VOIDS | LOVE, SHAWNA LITTLE SHAMSIDEEN AND, RUTH."

- Evelyn McKinnedy grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. While she moved to Brooklyn in 1969, she remained an active member of Greenville’s Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars. She sent contributions and attended events when she visited. On September 11, Evelyn was on the South Tower’s 107th floor, where she worked in the Observation Deck cafeteria for Aramark. She was 60 years old.
