Identification Card
- Description
- World Trade Center identification card issued to Robert Kenyon of Guy Carpenter & Co. The card includes a color photograph of Kenyon on the right side and his name, printed as "KENYON III | ROBERT," on the left side. The card has a green background with "World Trade Center" printed at the bottom and the logo of the towers to the left of the text.
- Historical Notes
- The Port Authority significantly improved its identification card system after the 1993 bombing, adding encoded photo identification cards issued to tenants and registered guests. These changes made it increasingly difficult for unauthorized persons or vehicles to gain access to the complex. At that time, this level of security screening was unusual.
