Lapel Pin

- Commemorative lapel pin featuring the Twin Towers with an American flag and printed text: "WE WON'T FORGET | SEPT 11, 2001." The pin is rusty, and the enamel is chipping.
- Historical Notes
- The “Patriot Parades” – one marking the first anniversary of 9/11 and another commemorating the 10th – were spearheaded by W. Steven Martin, a Phoenix, Arizona-based radio personality. The 30-mile parade route in the Phoenix metropolitan area came together under the premise that one person would ride their motorcycle in honor of each 9/11 victim. Commemorative wristbands with victims’ names were worn by the event riders.
