- Bronx native Ariel Jacobs lived in Briarcliff Manor, New York, with his wife, Jenna. They had married in 2000 and were expecting their first child in mid-September. On the 8th, Jenna threw Ariel an early surprise 30th birthday party. Ariel was an executive vice president at Caplin Systems. On September 11, he was at a conference at Windows on the World on the North Tower’s 106th floor. He was 29 years old.
