- Memorial book created by the American Tribute Center in memory of Stephen Kevin Tompsett. The book is a life story tribute containing written text, transcribed correspondence, photographs, and other material related to Tompsett. The book is blue with gold-printed text on the front that reads: "The Tender Warrior | The Life of | Stephen Tompsett."

- Born in Sydney, Australia, Stephen Tompsett came to New York in the 1980s on business and fell in love—with both the city and his future wife, Dorry. The two were raising their school-age daughter in Garden City, Long Island, where Stephen was a lector at their church. On September 11, Stephen, a senior vice president at Instinet, was at a conference on the North Tower’s 106th floor. He was 39 years old.
