- Description
- World Trade Center identification card with blue printed text at the top of the card that reads: "World Trade Center." A photo of Joan Singer is in the lower right corner, with a graphic of the Twin Towers on the left. "2201056" is printed in black on the far-left side of the card and a pink sticker with "1985" is in the center. The back of the card includes typed text: "New York Telephone 1200 (suite no.) | Joan Singer," with two handwritten signatures for Joan Singer.

The Port Authority significantly improved its identification card system after the 1993 bombing, adding encoded photo identification cards issued to tenants and registered guests. These changes made it increasingly difficult for unauthorized persons or vehicles to gain access to the complex. At that time, this level of security screening was unusual.
This ID card predates the 1993 bombing.
