Ground Zero 2010
- Description
- Framed compilation of six pen and ink drawings titled Ground Zero 2010 by John Coburn (b. 1957). The composition depicts the construction and rebuilding of the World Trade Center site as seen from the offices of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. The 9/11 Memorial reflecting pools are also depicted. The piece is dated August 20, 2010.
- Historical Notes
- Canadian artist John Coburn visited Ground Zero to document and sketch the rebuilding process. Working from a neighboring high-rise in 2010, Coburn captured the final phase of creating the Memorial Plaza.
