- Description
- World Trade Center identification card issued to Erica Bunin of Dean Witter Discover. The card includes a color photograph of Bunin on the right side and her name printed as "Bunin | Erica R." on the left. The card has a green background with "World Trade Center" printed at the bottom, with the logo of the towers on the left.
- Historical Notes
- The Port Authority significantly improved its identification card system after the 1993 bombing, adding encoded photo identification cards issued to tenants and registered guests. These changes made it increasingly difficult for unauthorized persons or vehicles to gain access to the complex. At that time, this level of security screening was unusual.
