- Memorial card created in memory of Manuel João DaMota. The front of the card features a photograph of DaMota and his name above a short poem. The back of the card is printed in Spanish with the "Las Huellas" [Footprints in the Sand] poem.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, Manuel DaMota lived in Valley Stream, Long Island. He had three sons and was expecting a fourth child with his wife, Barbara. Employed by Bronx Builders, Manuel was a skilled woodworker and project manager. On September 11, he was with colleagues on the North Tower’s 107th floor, meeting with Windows on the World staff about building a wine room. He was 43 years old.

This card was left on the N-71 parapet of the North Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Manuel João DaMota on September 11, 2020.
