- Description
- Matted and framed program for the memorial mass held in memory of Christopher Joseph Dunne. The program is disassembled in the display to show all sides. The front of the program reads: "In Loving Memory of Christopher J. Dunne | April 6, 1973 - September 11, 2001 | Memorial Mass of Resurrection | Thursday, October 4, 2001 - 3:00 pm. | St. Joseph's Church | Garden City, New York." The front also has an image of a cross. The inside of the program contains the order of the service, including songs, scripture readings, and speakers. The back of the program has a poem.
- Historical Notes
- Brooklyn native Christopher Dunne lived in Mineola, Long Island. He spent his free time with his friends, chatting and playing guitar. At Marsh & McLennan, where he worked in technical support, coworkers knew Christopher for his sarcastic wit and his penchant for buying drinks for the group after work. On September 11, he was at his office on the North Tower’s 96th floor. Christopher was 28 years old.
