- Born in Centereach on Long Island, Matthew O’Mahony lived in Manhattan with his wife, Lauren. The couple took annual vacations to Paris. Matthew also enjoyed fishing on weekends at their upstate New York farmhouse. On September 11, Matthew was on the 105th floor of the North Tower at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he worked as a trader. He was 39 years old.
