- John Henwood grew up in Wilton, Connecticut, and lived in New York City with his wife, Maria, and their two young children. September 10 marked their ninth wedding anniversary. They spent time in Maria’s native Spain each summer and were planning to move there. On September 11, John was on the North Tower’s 105th floor, where he worked at Cantor Fitzgerald as a bond trader. He was 35 years old.
