- Description
- Ceramic mug created for a memorial event held in memory of Michael Joseph Mullin. The mug is red with white printed text that reads: "Michael J. Mullin Scholarship Fund." The mug features a graphic of a man sitting in a beach chair with a beach umbrella and empty chair beside him. On the back of the mug is printed text that reads: "5th Annual | Michael J. Mullin | Scholarship Fundraiser | December 3, 2005."
- Historical Notes
- Holbrook, New York, native Michael Mullin lived in Hoboken, New Jersey, with his brother. A New York sports fan, Michael saw the Yankees and Mets in the 2000 World Series and the Giants in the 2001 Super Bowl in Florida. In August 2001, he toured California wineries with his girlfriend, Lisa. A Cantor Fitzgerald trader, on September 11, he was at work on the North Tower’s 104th floor. He was 27 years old.
