Prayer Card
- Description
- Prayer card created in memory of Scott Larsen. The front of the card features a photograph of Larsen in his bunker gear and fire helmet with printed text below the photo that reads: "Firefighter Scott A. Larsen | Born July 25, 1966 | Died September 11, 2001." The back of the card includes the Fireman's Prayer.
- Historical Notes
- New York native Scott Larsen lived in Queens with his three children and his wife, Carolann, who was expecting their fourth child. Scott took his family on bicycling and in-line skating excursions in the summer. A firefighter with FDNY Ladder Company 163, on September 11, Scott was training with Ladder Company 15. Firefighter Larsen responded with that unit to the World Trade Center. He was 35 years old.
