The NDMS logo of a white bird and white medical cross is embroidered in the center with surrounding text that reads: "National Disaster Medical System | United States of America."
Historical Notes: The National Disaster Medical System is a federally coordinated healthcare system and partnership of the United States Departments of Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Defense, and Veterans Affairs. The Veterinary Medical Assistance Teams (VMAT) program is part of the NDMS.
