- Baseball cap created in memory of John G. Coughlin. The cap is dark blue with "NYPD | SGT. Coughlin 3751" embroidered in white on the front.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Englewood, New Jersey, John Coughlin lived in Pomona, New York, with his wife, Patricia, and their three daughters. A U.S. Marine veteran, every December he used a week’s vacation to volunteer with the Marines’ Toys for Tots program. John had 18 years of experience at the NYPD and served with Emergency Service Squad 4. On September 11, Sergeant Coughlin responded to the towers. He was 43 years old.
