- Jar of soil from Ground Zero collected on May 30, 2002. The handwritten label on the jar reads: "I hand picked this soil at Ground Zero on May 30, 2002, 11:30 AM, during special ceremony for all those lost their lives. GM."

May 30, 2002, marked the end of cleanup operations at Ground Zero. The closing of the site was commemorated by the ceremonial removal of its final steel column, now called the Last Column.
George Mironis is a 9/11 survivor and attended the Last Column ceremony, where he collected this dust.
